goWolesale is looking for a National Sales Executive to join the Washington, DC office. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to be a part of the leading wholesale industry portal for products and services. The successful candidate is a fearless advertising sales professional with 2+ years experience in advertising sales with knowledge of the search engine marketing field. This is an inside sales position.
The successful candidate is a self-starter, strong prospector, and excellent listener, with a proven ability to manage all aspects of the sales cycle. Candidates must demonstrate a strong pattern of success in generating their own leads, cold calling, prospecting and closing. The successful candidate will provide excellent service to clients and produce results quickly. The National Sales Executive is a detail-oriented team player with excellent written and verbal skills, with an ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and produce results.
Responsibilities include:
- Generating leads and cultivating existing client relationships
- Gathering client requirements and selling online advertising (PPC, banners) using a consultative approach
- Increasing advertising revenue through consistent prospecting and new business development
- Supporting sales plans and leading its execution
- Reporting weekly sales activity, keeping prospecting database up-to-date & preparing sales forecasts
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a problem solver and a closer!
- 2+ total years experience in advertising sales
- Experience in or intimate knowledge of search engine marketing and advertising
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Service-oriented and client-focused
- Demonstrated high energy & persistence
- Excellent interpersonal communication, writing, and presentation skills
- A positive attitude and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
- Understanding of metrics used to track and optimizes online marketing campaigns
