looking for store creators/packages for online website

    Hi all,
    I use Shopping carts plus right now for my online store. they are ok, Pricy! but I was looking at different layouts and such and they do not have a lot of options with the one I use, Does anyone know of any cheaper, better layed out packages to set up online stores?

    April, check out the sites below. You can have a similar site for as low as $ 9.95 a month with up to 100 items. Up to 500 items for $ 12.95 per month.

    Or, you can simply pay 5% of sales.

    If you don't do your own card processing, but want ot be able to, I can add that to the percentage deal for a total of 8%.

    No additional fees. Includes hosting.

    I just went through several weeks of studying and comparing ecommerce solutions. If you want a great deal, try http://websitesource.com. With them, you can get up to 4 domains hosted on one account for only 11.95 month(or less) and onetime setup fee of 30 dollars. This includes Miva Merchant. You can have an unlimited number of products and keep all of the profit. They offer a lot of benefits over any other opportunity I found.

    If you are looking website package, i recommend fortune3.com. It provide desktop-based software to collect the data from your website. So you can download the sales of day to your pda, bring it home, and prepare your shippment tomorrow. Also, it has alot of nice template to choose. If you don't like it. It's easy to customize. This program has alot of award. I didn't use them, becuz i already has one b4 i know it.

    You can take almost any template and lay it onto an 'osCommerce loaded' shopping cart. This would change the layout and give it an entirely different look. The osCommerce shopping cart is free or available with web hosting and there are several programmers available that can help you do the layout and customization if you do not want to do it.
