Hi I am new at this. I was attempting to start selling items on Ebay. I bought several dropship list including joining the "Dropship Source Directory" I wanted to sell Pet Carriers and other related Pet items you can not find in stores. All these lists had was 3 companies that dealt with Pet items, so this became a limitation as well as the prices which are near retail prices.
Then I started checking into other types of products and really the prices I was seeing was not low enough to allow for a reasonable profit.
So I was interested in knowing other dropship sellers experiences. Thank You  -
Im still searching myself. Ill let you know if I have any luck.. will you do the same?

You could check out http://www.bestbrandsdirect.com they are always updating their site. They don't have any pet stuff yet but if you e-mail them they will try and get the stuff for you according to what I have read. I e-mailed them for info. Hope that helps!

You have to be careful when choosing a wholesale drop shipper. If you dont need a tax id to buy from them then they are not the wholesale source! Northwest is a good example. Maxum knives .66 cents each....how funny I pay .18 cents each for the same ones..hmmm Since I dont use this vendor anymore I will spill the beans, the real source is bnfusa.com or B+F Systems out of texas. I worked with them for years and they are great people to work with. Products are a bit junky but they sell. I made a small fortune at the flea market with their knives and embassy leather good and of course the ole Brookwood wall clocks sold good too. Ebay is overloaded with the stuff so forget that. Flea Markets and mail order you will do well with them. Dont dropship though unless you state delivery may take a month or more if it comes up out of stock you may be in trouble. I sold 150 of the Embassy leather jackets on ebay in one week and faxed my dropship order in and guess what...out of stock for 3 months!!! Funny thing was out of the 150 people only 2 canceled and everyone else waited and got the item 3 months later. It was a nightmare but worked out. The only items I would dropship from them were ones with an instock qty of more than 25,000 and the ladies would give me daily sales rate so I could figure what to ebay and dropship. Again B and F are good folks. If you live in San Antonio go give them a visit.

Thanks "art" for actually answering the question instead of trying to sell the guy something.

No problem...like I said b&f are pretty played online but take it to the flea market and you will do good. Some of their stainless knives are actually pretty nice for under a buck. The waterless cookware rocks at flea markets also..I was buying at 125 and selling at 295 ALL day long!
