i use a few drop shipper in some of my online auctions but because I am sure everyone has some sort of fees in the shipping cost I find it very hard to figure what shipping cost to put on my auctions. It looks like I have 3 options:
1. Figure what the max shipping cost on a item will be and post that as the fixed shipping cost. (This way some people will have to pay to much and then I loose a sale)
2. Have bidders email me with "how much for shiiping to here" emails. (Way to many emails involved on this one)
3. Set up something where they type in a zip code and the shipping cost is given like on EBay. (This is what i would like to do but what is the best way to do this if I am not sure how much in hidden fees are in the price I pay from my dropshipper?)
If anyone has any ideas please post them. I currently use #1 but while I like the extar $$ on some orders I do not feel right about charging that high of a fee for S/H.
thanks

Well when you drop ship it is hard to come up with shipping charges because you do not know where the bidder is lcoated. And you dont control your drop shippers charges.
I say stick with nmber one or just have them to email you.

If you want to use number 3, it's possible. Sign up a shipping calculator. like ups. You just need to know the drop shipper 's zip code and your client zip code. Then you can get the shipping cost.

If you're selling on ebay, they have a shipping calculator you can insert into your auction as you do your listing.
Be sure to put your dropshipper's zip code in the FROM section and your prospective buyer's can put their Zip Code in the TO section.
You can also use Nucite's Free Shipping Calculators for your auction.
