    Dave,
Doing a search on buyersinfo shows tons of negative postings about people being ripped off by them. I would try http://www.ripoffreport.com to see if you can find more. From what I read about them, I certainly wouldn't buy. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I wish I had checked this out sooner. I just purchased over $1500 in shoes from them. They sent pictures of the shoes but the ones I received where not like the pictures. The pictures were of a nice resalable shoes but the ones they sent were junk. I called to complain but no luck. I paid using a wire transfer and wonderful me signed a sales agreement. They seemed really nice and honest until they got my money. I will know next time.

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Dave,
So sorry to hear about your experience. It sound so similar to some others I've read. I suggest you try Openboxusa next time and speak to Ann. She is my main supplier and handles nearly everything. Whatever she doesn't have, she can get. In over 3 years of buying, she is the only one who has ever sent more items free of charge, no questions asked. Everyone else wants to give you a credit towards your next order or nothing at all. Being an ex IMASD member, I know quite a few of these companies, and still only deal with about three of them. Not because there are 99% bad ones, but some are just too far away to pay the shipping.
You just happened to pick a bad company because they know how to advertise and draw in the new buyers. Feel free to contact me in the future if I can be of any help.
One phone call to Ann at Openbox will show you how a company should be run, and how a straight and honest owner works. Good luck, and sorry again.

    Preacherclark,
I just did another search on buyersinfo.net about this company. I'm only posting this because they sent me a personal threat and I don't take kindly to those type of antics. I did a general search for JDcloseouts in topics, and found 11 negative postings and zero positive. One guy even contacted the attorney general and was told they needed more complaints to take action. If I were to check all the postings, I wouldn't be able to remember them all to tell you about it. If you want to see for yourself I suggest you register with that site ($21.99) and do a search on them.
Meanwhile, I'm going to find a way to copy and paste their private message to me for all to see. I wish you better luck in the future, and hope you use all the resources available for your next purchase.

Mr. David Eckhaus, manager of JD Closeouts sent me a private message and asked me to send all the pictures that JD Closeouts had sent me and to take pictures of the shoes sent me and email them to him. I did and have yet to receive a response. I have tried to contact him by phone but he won't take my calls and refuses to return my calls. I have left several messages. I contacted the Better Business bureau of Florida and they gave me the name of the president of JD Closeouts, Mr. Joe Beyhan. I have sent an email to him. Hopefully, this will resolve the issue but if it doesn't I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business bureau. Can anyone give me information on dealing with issues of this sort? Could one file with a small claims court? Any lawyers that handle these types of cases? It has become an issue about more than money. I feel that companies that misrepresent their products and mess over their customers should have to pay. If I don't do anything else I will let the world know that JD closeouts is dishonest. If Mr. Beyhan contacts me and settles I will post another post and let everyone know how things went. The ball is in JD Closeouts court right now. The shot clock is ticking though.

I was contacted by JD Closeouts months shortly after posting the original post. JD Closeouts said they would change out 150 pairs of the 250 shoes. They said they would send the ones like in the pictures they sent. They arranged for a truckline to pick up the shoes. They have had my shoes for months now. I try to contact them but the manager is always out or away from his desk. He has been on his honeymoon for the last month. I keep calling and emailing but they keep giving excusses. I am going to continue to try to get my shoes or money back. Ha! Ha! I feel that I might of jumped out of the pan and into the fire. Now they don't only have my money, they also have the majority of the product. I will keep you posted to the outcome.

I have been waiting to see what the FINAL outcome will be. I can see by your posts that the outcome is what I assumed it would be. Sorry for you though. I hope you take this to a higher authority and do what you can to recoupe some of your loss. As for me, I will definately take them of my potential list and let my business associates know about them.
Again.. sorry for your loss but in the long run it will be their loss.

An update on the shoe deal that I had with JD Closeouts. I just received my replacment shoes for the 150 pairs I returned. JD Closeouts did replace the shoes but it took several months and numerous phone calls. I had to stay on top of things or I would never had got my money or shoes. However, they did replace them with shoes of somewhat better quality and sizes. The end to this story, hopefully.
