Hello, I hope I'm asking this question in the right place.

Does anyone know of any websites that list the larger gift shows such as the Nutcracker Market in Houston and the Mistletoe Marketplace in Tennessee? I am interested in the number of people who attend and similar stats. Thank you. :)

I dont think attendance figures matter much. They are all inflated. If you are asking relative to exhibting at these shows I can tell you in general they are all down in buyers the past 5-10 years. I do not set up at them but visit several and know many exhibitors.

    Gift shows-
    Atlanta still does some business

ASD keeps adding more gift booths. I see such light traffic in those areas, yet the exhibutors keep coming back. They must like vegas.

Gatlinburg-3 differnet locations. Exhibitors all over the place. That was just held in November...

In the past I only did the national shows. When I advertised in "Potentials in Marketing" I got my Fortune 100 accounts. That would probably fall under the premium market, but the large companies are always looking for gifts for customers, as well as employees as incentives. A biggie for me was gifts from executive to executive.

As far as gift, I had a rep organization, that had permanent space in each of the Merchandise Marts around the country as well as the large shows. Another great show was the Museum Gift Show, which was attended by all the museum gift shop buyers.

Personally I think the best show is the January Housewares show at Chicago's McCormick Place.

Are you looking to sell to store buyers or to the public. My goal was to sell 100+ and let someone else sell to the public.
