Theres been an email scam going around recently to PayPal users and even people who don't have Paypal. Email is done like its from a PayPal rep and talks about PayPal verifying credit card info and that if you don't do it your PayPal account will be suspended.

If you click the link provided to verify your credit card, it shows a paypal URL but it actually redirects you to an IP address instead and if you look carefully at the URL you can see the redirection code.

Page it takes you to is a copy of the paypal page and looks totally legit and has all the proper links, but its not on the paypal site in reality. They are just tricking ppl into putting in there credit card info.

Also you should notice that it says secure server on the webpage to fool you, but if your smart and check your browser you will see that its not a secure page at all.

Don't get fooled by this scam, if you look at it carefully and know what to look for you can spot it a mile away, but many will see the Paypal page code and think its from Paypal and safe.
