Sony P800 Mobile Phone Pricing?

I've been emailing two companies over the course of a week who each sell the Sony P800 mobile phone from prices $200-270 USD. The only things we have discussed are product specs, minimum orders (20 at one and 200 at the other), and they have given me their phone numbers. One is located here in the US, the other is located in Spain. I would like to know if this price is below what Sony even sells them for right from their factories. They both offer other phones, and the other phones are priced right around what I can get them for everywhere else, so they seem alright up until I see they have the P800 for hundreds less and in small quantities. I have tried getting ahold of Sony, but they aren't very fast at replying, so I figured someone here would have some sort of input.

I have seen individuals from Spain scamming people on EBay for a few months now. Mostly with cellular phone offers (including the P800).

This price is extremely low. What payment do they offer? Will they accept escrow.com? I can see them refusing escrow.com because many wholesalers don't like the service but what are their payment terms?

Their payment terms are Paypal or bank transfer. For an order of 200, I would pay 10% up front, and 90% upon delivery. For a sample order of 20, I must pay all up front and the prices are higher, but still reasonable. They seem pretty legit to me with those kind of terms. I'm pretty sure within the next week or so I will make the sample order throug paypal. I checked their Paypal account, and they're a verified premier member. If I do the deal, I'll let you all know how it goes.

Try asking if you can have them picked up. This doesn't mean that you will pick them up but it tests to see if they are willing. The scammers will say no.

Here's my last email from them, here's what they have to say:

    >Sorry it has taken so long for us to respond. Yes, these units are un locked and will work on any GSM network. Your more than welcome to pick up the units in person however since they are a production unit coming from Japan we would still require the same deposit as stated before, furthermore if the final installment was made in person we would have to charge the state sales tax on the order 8.1%

I think they're pretty legit. If no one here thinks that sounds crazy, I'm gonna give it a shot for their minimum order and see what happens. Of course I'll pay with a credit card, just in case something happens. However, I only have a $1,000 credit card that is used for emergencies only, does anyone know where I can get a credit card with atleast $5000 credit for the transaction?
