I really fed up with this thing. Everyone asks everyone about companies and we just spend significant time here. I opened this discussion as I believe I am not the only one who is struggling to find honest companies

Please post any honest companies you know or dealt with. I haven't dealt with these companies but read postive comments about them.

    Dvd Wholesaler:

    http://www.buyritedvd.com

    General Wholesaler

    http://www.dollardays.com

(They also advertise on my site)

I am sorry that I could onlt find these companies among all scammers..

Please do not post your site's advertisment since we see everywhere in this forum. Let's save some time folks

    Thanks

 I was thinking the same thing! unfortunately I have only dealt with crooks so far. I am still looking for true dvd liquidators/wholesalers. I wonder if such sellers even exist.

Well, thats why I wanted to open this thread, if we can discuss about the honest ones, scammers wont be able to cheat us again. Seems most people need to learn that..

The sad thing most people could careless about dealing with legal legit companies. They are out for a quick buck. There is no such thing as a quick buck. Unless of course your one of the scam sellers rip-off naive people.

I have found most companies to be honest. Where people run into problems is when they try to buy product below legitimate market price points whether it be DVDs or handbags. If it sounds too good to be true...it is.

But for someone like myself who doesn't have too much wholesale experience how do I know what the products 'legitimate market price points' are?..especially if its products that are less common?

That is a great question. That is why it is important to research your product and the market place before deciding what to sell.

Yes, sir, there are plenty of honest wholesalers out there. Unfortunately, people tend to remember only their bad experiences not their good. I have been in computer brokering business for 6 1/2 yrs and have made good money and lost even 'gooder' money. However, before I will spend a dime with anyone, it is very easy to pick up a telephone and contact credit reporting companies and ask about principles, how long in business, liens....etc. It costs between $25-$50 but a lot easier than losing a lot more. Ask for references from these folks. If they are reputable, they should be more than happy to provide. Now, granted, if it is only a $100 sale, they might tell you to get lost.If I'm going to spend my hard earned money on something, I want to know who I'm buying it from.

Anyway, as I said before, there are plenty of good, honest, hard working people out here. It just takes a bit of due diligence. I'm rambling now so I wish all of you a profitable 2004.

I am new to this business. I have been doing it full time for only 3 weeks now. Specializing in apparel. I have placed orders with about 8 companies, and received orders from 4 of them. I wish I would have checked this board first, but so far my luck has been damn good.

    Here are my experiences:

MyWebWholesaler: I bought a load of Macy's Kids clothing, overstock and shelf pulls. They advertised a lot of big names like Lauren, Hilfiger, etc. They did make it clear that there could be other brands. The load I got was about 85% of a single brand, Green Dog. Every piece was perfect though, and all had full tags attached. I was hoping to get more variety in brands. I will probably make a small (tiny) profit on the load. I would give them a B-

TransAm Wholesale: Bought two loads of jeans, and they were exactly as described. A

Brandywine: Bought a load of jeans, and they arrived quickly. Great customer service, phone calls were returned, etc. A+

Oddo Industries: Bought 36 new Polo shirts. They arrived and were all in perfect condition, as described, but only 35 in the box. It probably was just a mistake in packing. I have contacted them to get it straightened out, but no response in two days. Not a huge deal, but it bumps them down to a B.

    Keep this thread going.

Ditto on checking out references: through dunn and bradstreet not their "friends". Also to check out possible wholesale prices: the Strong Numbers. So right about people who are scammed, somethimes they are their own worst enemy: electronics sell slightly above wholesale. Popular electronics (Clothing, whatever) are selling above wholesale because they can And perhaps above retail because they can. Remember those dumb Beany Babbies?????

Oddo Industries must make a good profit off shorting all his customers a shirt. I ordered 3 styles from him and he shorted me a couple of shirts. And he was supposed to throw in 2-3 extra since he was out of one style and had to supplement with a less expensive style. Oh well, what's new.

I am bumping Oddo Industries down to a C. He hasn't responded to my emails about the missing shirt. I even offered to place another order with him if he would credit me the short shirt on the new order. No reply.

I am still going to make a nice profit on the load, but I think the no response is pretty unprofessional. Especially considering I offered to place another order if he would make up for the missing shirt.

I too have dealt with Brandywine on Apparel, DVDs, and a few other items. I always get the items I order promptly, receive a tracking number, and get all of my questions answered by phone or email. I definitely would give them an A+ as well.

I've been online for many years and have dealt with lots of business opportunities. Of course most of them are either scams or cost too dam much to join. I've been from profit-sharing programs, health programs, gold coins programs, mlm's and the list goes on. But nothing has really paid off like Affiliate programs. These are businesses already established but needs a little helping hand to get the word out and you get paid a commission. And yes, I've been through alot of them ... even big name companies. But even that was hard to get people to buy because they already know about those big name companies. In fact they would rather go to thier local mall and buy it. But nevertheless, I found a company that has something that no mall have and The Internet will die for! And those who knows about it are making serious money, plus they just released thier Brand New 2004 Version.

Of course, I can't share it here but I will share this with you ... I already got paid!

I found this search engine. It gave me some great hits. I think it searches directories along with the web.
