Hi, Im trying to buy wholesale from a manufacturer in China for the first time. They have given me bank account information and so on and told me to transfer the money by T/T. I took this to my bank not really knowing what to do and they didnt really know much more than I did but I found out that It would cost around 15 pounds ($25) and take 7 days. Or I could send a bank draft for 10 pounds.
I was just wondering if anyone could give me some professional advice on what I should do on this as Im so new to buying wholesale I dont want to seem unprofessional to the company.
I have the instructions I was given bellow.
Thanks for any help, DanSM

T/T is just a Wire Transfer. Just tell your bank that you want to send a wire transfer and provide them with the information that the company has given you.
Once you have completed this with the bank fax a copy to the receiving company so they know that you have send the payment and they can confirm it.
I'm not sure what else you really need to know. -

Thanks, it just seems a bit unsafe sending the money in advance before I know anything about them other than what they tell me. Is there any way to check up on companies in China to see if they are legit? -
Usually if they accept T/T they will accept L/C so you might want to ask if they do and it is safer for you.
