    Hi guys

Was looking for a digital camera source. I can't seem to find any that beat the Ebay prices, especially the refurbs. Anyone know where to get cameras? New or refurbished?

Most my sources for Digital Cameras require pallet purchases. If you want those sources just ask.

the prices still arent good enough to compete with the refurbs on Ebay, they were close, but not quite

You may not believe this.. but I purchased many, many digital cameras/digital camcorders on Ubid.com for extremely good prices. I haven't purchased from Ubid in the past 3 months or so but they had some of the best prices.

It pays to search on Ubid.com at odd times during the day, that way the bids arent nearly as high. Usually very late nights or early mornings work the best. Also, you'll get the best prices if you buy in bulk amounts, as their S&H will just kill you if you only purchase 1 at a time.

I have made over 20 purchases on there, and my last one I sold directly on eBay. Purchased 10 Sharp VL-NZ150u Digital Camcorders for $350 each, with a $100 rebate for each one. (it was tough redeeming all 10 coupons, seeing it's only 1 per household, but that's another story). Basically I paid $250 each and sold them on eBay for $350 each. It wasnt an absolute killing but I'll take $1000 if someone hands it to me.

Just an idea. Check around the different categories as well... you never know what you'll find on that site. Another good thing to Ubid.com is that you know you'll get your order on time, every time, and you'll get exactly what you purchased. I have only had one error in those 20 shipments, and that was being sent the wrong cameras. They quickly rectified the situation and then some.

I've often looked at ubid.com and have always wondered what condition the stuff they're selling is in. I know most of it is refurbished but at the prices they're going at it makes you think twice about what 'refurbished' means. :)

ubid has some of the stuff tagged with a 1 year warrenty. Does that mean the gadget is new?

    Any bad experiences with ubid?

All the items on Ubid.com are either brand new or Refurbished. Their refurbished items are literally brand new and usually have a refurbished box. I highly recommend them to anyone. 20+ positive experiences and I'll buy through them again if the opportunity arises.

The pallet purchases are liquidation deals. That source deal was only good for about a week. The cameras are long gone.
