Is this place any good or is the information hard to navigate and req. lots of phone calls.

ebay in China is not so good, since most Chinese do B2C at website like taobao, B2B at alibaba, they are all Chinese website. So if you want to find Chinese wholesaler, maybe you have to do many efforts to contact the dealer themselves.

taobao is C to C ,but it have a "taobao mall ",this is a B to C area .
as far as I know ,ebsilk is a wholesale supplier which is engaged in B to C
