Is Liquidity Bidding on Their Own Search?

When I do some searches on GoWholesale I see the result

"Bulk Surplus Auctions - 500+ Categories
Bulk lot surplus auctions in 500+ categories start at just $100!
    http://www.liquidation.com"

Are they (Liquidity) bidding on their own search results? This would not seem ethical...?

Liquidation.com and goWholesale are both divisions of Liquidity Services Inc, the parent company. Liqiudation.com does advertise on goWholesale; however, they are a completely separate division, and their advertising is in no way managed or influenced by anyone from goWholesale, nor are they given any preferential treatment or special discounts. In fact, there is even a recent case study on goWholesale about how Liquidation.com has seen excellent results through targeted advertising on goWholesale: http://www.gowholesale.com/about/casestudies.html

But other advertisers must still bid against the owners of the search engine for higher placement. Liquidation.com doesn't need a special discount as they're paying themselves (Liquidity) for placement. This is borderline at least.

Our payper click results with gowholesale were borderline.
