If someone pays via Pay Pal and violates a company's time frame for return policy such as merchandise must ship back within 7 days for damage claim etc etc or not as described, and the person emails you to tell you 30 days later they sold the stuff on Ebay and customer returns to them for whatever reason they want to now return items to me-the supplier.
We said no, cause we never knew of a problem and the shipment should of been checked before selling it and we are to be noified within 2 days of issues.
What if they threaten to do chargeback? Will I have a good case to win it as they had this stuff in their possession 30 days and never said a word about anything, tell me their customer says item was sent damaged .
I told my customer who purchased wholesale from us for resale, why would you send out damaged goods and not know it? Why did you not review your shipment according to our terms of sale? How do we know the ebay buyer is not lying?
I believe he can't move the merchandise due to price competition and or whatever and is trying to snake us for it.
Opinions??

I believe you do have a strong case and have a great possibility of winning the dispute, but expect Paypal to hold the funds if it is greater than $100; and expect Paypal to take up to 75 days to make that decision.

You can win if you have all the documentation but your funds could be tied up for quite some time. Watch out for competitors who might want to put you out of business by placing multiple orders under different names and then filing mulitple chargebacks at the same time to intentionally wreck your bank account.

I think its a great case.
It has a lot of "holes" though- not your fault
the "hole" is that its Paypal and they can freeze your account
because they feel like it or because its a Saturday or possibly because
they will call your return policy into question. Whatever is their whim of the moment.
I hope you win the dispute if there is one, however dont hold your breath for a fast
resolution. No matter how much you call them or email they will not answer any faster.
Remember, they protect the buyer not the seller i most cases (or so I feel).
Good Luck Jane.
