Yes. I bought some Rock and Republic jeans from one of their sellers. I asked several questions about authenticity and the seller assured me they were real, and I belived him or her. (Call me naive).

After listing them on Ebay, they were Vero'd. I emailed R&R and they sent me the form threatening email.

idrinkcoors just because Ebay Vero'd them doesn't mean that they were fake. Authentic items have also been Vero'd many times on Ebay.

VeRO means Verified Rights Owner. I'd advise you not to look for A&F or any other brand name until you know the full extent of the program if you intend to sell on eBay.

As for R&R pulling you it is probably because you have fake jeans. The same happened me as in I was bought apparently authentic jeans which turned out to be fake.

If you are unsure post pictures on the honestforum.com and see what the general feedback is.

thanks, I dont't want to sell on e-bay. what I would like to do is sell them in my store. Does anyone have any information reguarding this? There are a few shops around that sell a&F like marshall's. How do they get it to sell? I only want authentic goods.

Janesdeals is loaded with fake chineese !@#$. if they were worries about thier operation selling fakes, they would take down all these listings, and about 4,000 more.

God bless us! Even Janesdeals gets negatives written about them. I guess no business is safe in these forums! One minute they praise you, the next they complain. If you want product with paperwork, just contact the manufacturers directly and see if they'll sell you a pair of name brand jeans for $30/pc.

I am in the process of dealing with them right now. I made a deal with the seller, Jane's Deal's asked for slightly more money on top of it which I did not send. After receiving my payment Jane's Deals sent an email saying the case's went from the 24 in a case I paid for to 30 in a case and wanted $180 more. . I told her that made no sense, as 6 more would be $120. She then asked for $19.95 +6% not saying what it is for. So I told her I wanted my money back, so we will see what happans. Too bad as I was looking forward to the shipment.

You placed the order but did not pay for almost a month despite several emails requesting payment.

So what do you want? The same deal a month later? The supplier changed his packing during this time. You are the one who breached the contract not the supplier. Contact me direct if you want your money back. And don't waste our time anymore. A deal is a deal.

There was not several emails and I told you it was being mailed from Canada. And yes I do expect the same deal for Playboy tracksuits. They are listed on your site right now for 24 in a case at $19.95 each. So nothing has changed. I do not want to argue and I'm sure no one else wants to hear it either, just let me know if you are sending a case of 24 or refunding. Thank you.

You are not getting the original deal. You failed to pay and in fact you were already added to the deadbeat buyers list for non pay! You are the reason real suppliers do not want to offer their goods online, they don't want to deal with this.

The order will be cancelled and you will be blocked from future purchasing. Of course you will be refunded.

JUST CURIOUS!!! If the amount has been changed like you claim Jane then why is the advertisement for the same amount that the purchaser originally agreed upon still posted on your site? 24 pcs? Doesnt sound very fair to me!!!

It's changed, thanks for pointing it out.

Just try to understand that alot of the items on the site are real closeouts. They are not coming out of a factory. They are offered at discounted prices for a reason. The suppliers want a fast sale. Because the suppliers are not making much money they are not going to put a shipment on the side for a buyer that has a check in the mail. All the suppliers on Janesdeals will hold the shipment for 3 days. After 3 days if funds are not in, the sellers are not obligated to hold the goods.

Bottom line this buyer will get her 500.00 back on Monday. The new case packing is 30 pcs while supplies last. These are authentic with papers. it is a great deal!

Hmmm Deadbeat Buyers List. Well I have added you to my SKim OFF The Top sellers list. When getting extra funds here and there never worked, she did send a refund although it was minus -$30. When I asked her why it was short $30 her response was "how much was it supposed to be" Oh well I got most of it, which is better than a lot of companys on here.

Please see my post on Janes Deals below this thread in the forum.
    http://www.wholesale4um.com/viewtopic.php?t=23954

I address questions buyers should think about. Whomever gets paid I assume is responsible for the sale unless there is a clause in the seller contract with Janes Deals that states Janes deals in specifically not responsible for any transactions and the seller is in turn responsible. I think Janes deals is a good concept- but there is no buyer protection at all cause their are no credit cards at all. So there is no way for the buyer to pay the seller direct they would have to go after Janes deals legally if something went wrong unless she is claused out of it in her legal agreements on her site because the buyer may not have the sellers info? Do they get this info? I assume once they get the packing slip from the shipment. But I would want this information prior to the sale, not after items have shipped so I know whom I am dealing with.

Janes has not responded to my previous posts- I wonder why??

Jane is busy running her business at janesdeals.com. This is why she has not answered your questions on wholesale411! The rules and regulations are clearly explained. By your questions, it sounds like you have not read the website?

Credit Cards -- Janesdeals does not accept credit cards due to the high risks involved. The average transaction is over $1000.00. Merchants average a 10% annual loss due to credit card fraud. Need I say more??

FYI Credit cards do not protect the buyer from anything except not receiving the merchandise. So, if you receive the merchandise, list it on Ebay and your auction is Vero'd, you simply bought counterfeits and got caught. You could file a chargeback with your credit card company, but if the merchant disputes the chargeback and is able to prove the shipment was delivered and you purchased under the conditions that "all sales final" the merchant will be credited back to the merchant you will be stuck with the goods. The merchant ends up eating the chargeback fees and having to deal with the crybaby buyer who (in most cases) intentionally purchased fake goods to resale on Ebay for high profits. We all know by now that 95% of the branded apparel sold on ebay are counterfeits and the only way to resale on Ebay and make a profit is to buy counterfeits and hope you don't get vero'd.

I hope I answered some of your questions - I do need to get back to janesdeals but you can email me directly if you have more questions.

By the way, if you resale on Ebay counterfeits, how is the buyer protected?? Do you accept credit cards and how many chargebacks or returns do you get? I only hear buyers complain about being Vero'd but they never mention the number of buyers that report receiving counterfeits... Please respond to that. I would be interested to find out the actual percentage of buyers that return jeans you sold to them. Thanks! Jane

FYI - This is not true. I received a broken DVD player on a retail personal transaction (not salvage) and tried to return it to the company. Because they had a policy of "No Returns", they wouldn't take it back. Thank God I paid with a credit card. I sent the broken DVD player back and filed a chargeback. I received a full refund including shipping costs from the credit card company. Point is....I don't make a habit of doing chargebacks but when you need protection, it's there. :)

After reading the few pages of threads on janedeals, I would say if you have a problem, just email her directly. I am sure with all the "publicity" she is getting here on this forum, she must be overwhelmed with emails so please give her a chance to reply. If you are displeased with her service then in future, don't buy from her. If you have not ordered, after reading this whole thread, I would think twice about ordering from jane. Move on to another site.
