Is there any reason to use stamps.com over Pay Pal. I am currently using stamps.com, but Pay Pal appears to do the same thing, anyone use Pay Pal for shipping? Is it working out ok

    Hi Bill:

I had a subscription to Endicia (like Stamps.com) and had a Zebra Printer (to create the 4x6" labels). I was taking a lot of orders through a merchant account / shopping cart that was not Paypal. Endicia worked well in this scenario. However, if you sell using Paypal primarily, there is no good reason NOT to use the Paypal shipping system which is built in.

Just my opinion ... but I have found it ties the process in nicely.

(Computer started to shut of so had to post without finishing)
Anyway also a BIG plus to stamps.com over paypal is the insurance. For example to buy $50 insurance using paypal it is: something like $1.88 with Stamps.com it is $1.17 that is 71 cents you save wich may not sound much but if you ship out 500 packages a month thats $355 minus the $14.95 (i have the $25 one but the 15 is good for smaller shippers). The amount i save pays for my car insurance (1car) + cellphone bill + cable bill + internet bill.

Doesn't PayPal charge a per transaction fee to use their shipping features?
