Has anyone dealt with mywebwholesaler.com. I placed and order for xbox 360's and mp4 players. They accept paypal and credit card on smaller orders--But because this orer is over $20,00 they want payment by bank wire. Anyone have any info or advice?

I would really like for someone to explain to me why they think they can purchase X-BOX 360's within a wholesale venue??? This is one of the hottest items around do you really think that you can buy them here on this forum wholesale when the major stores themselves have trouble getting them!

Read all the horror stories about trying to buy X-BOX 360's on this forum, there are plenty of them!

That being said i have no idea about my web wholesaler, im just making a general statement about X-BOX 360's itself.

Lisa has been contributing here since 2003. Read her past postings. In fact, when she listed clothing, I seem to remember she always had paperwork.

Search the forum for the company and familiarize yourself with the term "surplus". Read the fine print however small it may be....many companies sell "surplus" goods that are junk. Just FYI.

I personaly would not do it, with all the scams that been going around with wholesalers being scamed out of other peoples money .

I would not be the first in line to send only money with no security

This sounds like a Great Deal! But to be on the safe side ask Lisa if she would be willing to list them on Janesdeals?

Janesdeals will hold the funds for the buyer/seller in safekeeping until delivery and inspection and.... The buyer and seller can form a 2 party contract using our E-contract Software.

    Win/Win/Win?

I have dealt with Mywebwholesaler. I have never had any problems. They always sent good merchandise. I haven't even experienced over 10% damaged goods out of my orders. I have only purchased soft goods from them tho. I have never purchased electronics or hard goods. Bank wire transfer is common in Wholesale Liquidators. I have wire transferred money. What I wouldn't do is conduct any business with TDW Closeouts. Cheats, Scammers. Rip apart goods and sell one item as two in their counts. BAD BUSINESS. No recourse.

    Hello,

I would like to apologize to those of you that do not like or understand our company policies and also explain to you that companies as well as consumers also get scammed. Just last week we were scammed out of over $30,000 through credit card fraud. It does happen to us as well. Our policy has always been to take credit cards with a limit of up to $4500.00. That limit has now been reduced to $2500.00 for the following reasons. 1) Increasing Internet fraud. 2) Fees. Internet businesses pay a much higher fee than brick and mortar stores and the cost is quite high. We have very strict rules with credit card purchasing but it is for our benefit as well as our customers. I would also like to note that we are one of the very few online liquidators that do take credit cards at all.

In all our years of business we have never taken anyone’s money and not delivered their goods. We are not in the business to TAKE your money and run and we are not in the business to try and rip anyone off.

We have been a member of this forum for a few years now and have had complaints as well as praise but what you will not see is a complaint where we never delivered of never refunded. It is just not our style. We try to describe our products as best as possible and include as many pictures as possible. We also offer a salvage 101 page that outlines all of our policies as well as what and what not to expect. We also offer a 1-800 line and online contact form where customers can be in touch at all times and address whatever concerns they may have.

As for the Xbox and iPod commotion, last week we secured 2000 Xbox systems and 400 Apple iPod’s and boy did that go over like a lead balloon. Jeeze, we received everything but death threats… :)

These were all sold on a first come first serve basis and some did not like this at all. We had one customer threaten us because we voided out here invoice after 9 days of non-payment.
We do not hold orders based on an open invoice as this would be pure foolishness on our part.

We had another customer complain because we refunded her in full when we thought we were sold out and could not secure more…we were called a fraud and deceitful. Five minutes after refunding this customer we were able to secure 400 more and did not offer them to this particular customer.

There are those of you on this board that like our products and customer service and there are those that do not. That is O.K. Like my mom always says “you can’t please all the people all the time.”

We are human and we do err and if we do we will tell you we did. If we cannot deliver, you will be refunded in full. If you are invoiced for an item and it sells out before you make payment, we will let you know. If you make payment and the item is sold out, we will refund you.

Jane, thanks for the offer but sorry to say, I won’t be listing anything on your site anytime soon. :)

I hope this helps to clear up a few issues.

So does anyone admit to purchasing them? How is the transaction going so far? I was wondering if I should purchase some right now, they have some available on their website right now, prices jumped up quite a bit.

    Seriously!~
You have to be kidding?... did I just read that right? How old are you?... 10? Where did you grow up? On an unheard of island with no populace, where they have no business? Why would any credible company bother themselves with taking 5 grand of someone elses money for 10 days and issuing a refund on it to "borrow it?" LOL! Go take a class in economics... tell me it's for 100 thousand... and maybe I could stretch my imagination on that figure.

I was part of this xbox order. I was told that I was ordering the "first batch". So I quickly wired my 7+ grand. I was supposed to get 30 xbox 360's. She told me that if I didn't hear anything from them in 2 weeks to call. Two weeks came around and I called. She told me that they didn't receive as many as they thought and that they had sold out and that I had to buy the second batch which just arrived. She told me of the price increase and she did offer me a refund. (I have to say that much for them) But the price increase was not the standard wholesale markup, ie. 10% more... I was told that I could paypal $400 more dollars for 20 ipods. The price each is now around $380! I chatted a while with the lady and I told her that I think they marked them up another $140 each to make a quick buck.. she didn't like that too much and told me.. "they are a commidity". I about flipped when she told me that. I was then told that my xboxes would be shipped out within 2 weeks. If I wanted to sit on $7600 dollars for a month, I would have put it in a bank, at least I would have made a dollar or two! To make a long story shorter.. I have 30 people that wanted xboxes from me... only 20 are getting one. I never accept money before I have the product.. (wonder why)... and I lost over $5,000 profit that I was counting on to order other things. The kicker is that on their invoice they sent me, there is a whole paragraph saying.. "this is a binding contract, bla bla you are entering a legally binding sale.. all sales are final", etc.. But I guess it's ok for them to jack up the price to $10 under retail. Maybe I can catch a sale at Wal-Mart and get it cheaper..
P.S. I have an oppointment with my laywer tomorrow about this.

The xbox situation is interesting because I had a similiar problem with them last summer. They held almost $2000 of mine for about 30 days. Kept promising the shirts I ordered "will be shipping next week". Finally they called and said they didn't have the product and offered to sell me something else. Very frustrating! I did get a refund, but I asked in this forum if anyone got the shirts they advertised, and noone ever responded if they got them or not.

Auction sites – Which one would you consider

    Ebid.net
    Ubid.com

Dan, It is business and sometimes things do happen. You did however get your money back. I am not sure what shirts you are referring to but I am going to go out on a limb here and say Lacoste. We ordered and paid for a shipment of Lacoste shirts with full paperwork. We received the sanitized invoices before ordering, which we still have and were promised the full paperwork with the order. The order came in and we were not sent the paperwork and requested it several times. When it did not come we decided not to ship the shirts and to send them back to the vendor. Although they appeared to be authentic we did not want to have any authenticity issues so we did not ship them to anyone. It was a call we had to make.

The xbox prices have changed and will most likely continue to change as our cost changes. For those of you that say the prices do not change, you have no idea what you are talking about.

We cannot sell product for less then we paid. Many orders where cancelled, some never paid and many paid at once. As soon as we realized the first load was gone we notified everyone that did not make it and offered them an immediate refund. It was pure chaos the day we listed them on the site and we kept in full contact with everyone. We did not leave the country or run away with anyone’s money. We were 100% upfront with what was going on and there were those that were extremely pissed off because they wanted them and did not care what we had to say and there will be those of you that will have your own versions or scenarios of what you think happened. For those who did get them, I am sure there will be some that will post their experience as well.

Every one is entitled to there opinion but the simple fact is simply that our production run was much higher than our first and we posted them online with the new price and those who wanted to change their orders did (those who didn’t make first) and those that did not were refunded. We didn’t twist anyone’s arm and nor did we tell anyone to pre-sell them. We told everyone how many we had and that it was on a first come (pay) first serve basis and all orders would ship out in the same way payments were received and that is exactly what we did. Those who opted not to wait or got cold feet or didn’t make the first shipment were all promptly refunded.

Yeah, we had a TWO threaten lawyer and a COUPLE MORE even call us four letter words. Not exactly sure what a lawyer does when a company refunds a cusomter, I guess I will have to stay tuned.

Damned if you do and damned if you don’t …

    Hi Lisa,

Is there an update on the 60GB iPods? I placed my order back in January and haven't received them (I guess the 2 shipments that you got were sold out). I called the main number 3 times and no one knows when a new shipment is coming.

Any information you can provide would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks!

I have done business in the past with mywebwholesaler, but for clothing lots - not for electronics. I had never had a problem with them so I decided when they first offered electronics last Janurary to give them a shot. I have wired money to them in the past for orders and received refunds for product that ran out of stock - no worries there.

Now comes the electronics. I have to say that I am not nearly as warm and fuzzy. I decided to try an Xbox 360 Premium order. I was assured by Wanda that I would make the first truck load. This was important to me (and probably most people) as I did not want to tie my capital up for a long time. I received a call stating that my order did not make the first truck in February and that the price per unit has gone up almost 50% per unit! It was still about $380 a unit so I told them to put the funds towards the next truck which I was again assured that I would make. I made it clear that if I would not make the second shipment I needed my funds back. When I saw Lisa's post above that they would ship out this week I felt great relief because surely that would include my order since I placed it back in mid January. This past week I sent emails to both Wanda and Lisa asking about the status of the order and got no reply. Not feeling too comfortable here.

Having said all this, I want to be clear that I completely trust Lisa with my cash. She have proven very legitimate in the past. I'm just not sure at this point that this is the place to buy electronics. As I get more info i'll let you know how this order goes.

that is the worse when there is no response, if there is going to be a delay the wholesaler should contact you again and you make the decision if you want refund or not. I do not know how people can be this patient lol a week late and i panic .

anyways anyone at all ever got any ipods or xboxs
