Would this be legal to sell on ebay?

    Just been offered some very similar to ipod shuffles mp3 player. There the exact design and make, but there not apple ipod.
    Would i be allowed to sell these on ebay if i say there not apple ipod?

    They look very similar but aint apple ipods basically

    I found this site which had pictures similar to the ones i been offered.

    you would have to find out if the product infringes apple copyright in anyway, suspect it does therefore you would be open to attack from apple VERO.

    Apple owns the Apple logo that is on the player. They may also own the right to the word "shuffle" on an mp3 player

    Are they not the fake ipods that everyone is trying to pass off as the real thing on ebay?

    They are not quite fake as they have amended the Logo slightly so not passing them off as Apple. If they were 'fake' they would be identical. These are just a similar design (identical) with a similar logo/packaging.

    However they are sailing close to the wind with the Logo and wording which would be cause for concern (and most likely an instant Vero!)

    I wouldn't touch them!

    I saw these on dhgate.com as well. I though the same thing you did, then decided not to go that route. I didnt think it would be worth the risk.

    What if you just offered these as MP3 Players and did not mention the words IPOD,SHUFFLE OR APPLE?
    Could you still get shut down by Vero?
