I had on ebay Rock Republic jeans for sale. All of them got veroed. On top of that they SUSPENDED my account INDEVINILTLY! I take that this means forever right?
This is were most of my income comes from on ebay. I had 100 percent feedback.
Can I fight this? They said my jeans were copyright infridement but they have no proof.
I will even agree not to sell R&R again I just want my account back.
What can I do. Is there a way if I can get my account back to re sign up.
Please help guys im counting on you -
RR, True Religion, Seven for all Mankind, Lacoste...word of advice, don't touch them. If they suspended you indefinitely that means that you have been suspended before? You probably have had other veros as well? The only way to TRY and get around it is to write to RR and beg and kiss behind...That's not to state that you will get your account back. They have done this to MANY people recently and it sucks but there isn't much you can do. I have done a lot or research on all of this and it all really disgusts me, I am very turned off by them now honestly. Ebay will give you no answers or help, they will tell you to work it out with RR, the supposed person that is there for RR is obnoxious as anything but you have to be nice if you want to try and get reinstated. That's all you can do. If you open a new account.....there is 90% chance they will figure out it's you and suspend that one too.

Can I appeal ebay? I have never been suspended before just Veoroed for dumb stuff.
That means I can never get ebay account again if my appeal doesnt work? -
If this is your first suspension yes, you can appeal it, if it is your second, you can try but it will get you nowhere. What you will need to do is try to kiss behind! You will have to contact the company such as RR and beg them to reinstate the auctions. It is useless to defend yourself b/c that won't get you anywhere but on their blacklist, you will have to kiss their butts and beg and plead and even that isn't a promise. You will also have to try and contact all the previous companies that vero'd you as well and do the same otherwise you can kiss the account goodbye! It sucks, ebay sucks! The program sucks!

Can you say your screwed as vero members can do what they like and they don't have to even give you a reason or eBay a reason they had your auctions removed. eBay is afraid of being sued so they let the vero members run wild and do as they please.
Ebay has no back bone. -
no more ebay for you
i had 100% as well
never got my account back -
I am looking for a thread , this thread gave step by step instructions on how to open up a new ebay account even if you were suspended. I cannot seem to find this, if someone can link me , this would be much appreciated.

its not a problem, get a P.O box.....call your credit card company, report your credit card stolen and get a new one. Then download a program called CC, to clean cookies and temp files on your computer. Once you have done that, if your IP# is statis call your service provider and have it changed, but if you are on rogers or sympatico its not static so don't worry about it.
Then go and register on ebay, but make sure address is not same as last time, change your name by one letter or use initials and definitely use different email address. Also if you were using paypal make sure you don't use same paypal account again.
Its guaranteed to work,
Good Luck
I copied and pasted this, from another user, in case anyone was interested. -
Its a shame that they did that. I personally haven't had the problem but it is very common among members here. My experience has been this: If you get VERO'd once - stop everything you were doing, find out why they VERO'd you, and then restart with that information in mind. If it is your second VERO then you are probably going to have to open a new account.
Begging might help, but in general you are hurting these companies profits (or so they think at least) so they will be reluctant to help you get your account back. My advice is to watch your VERO-prone auctions extremely carefully.
By the way - I've had friends who have opened eBay accounts with the same address and different CC - it may have changed since they've done that. Could be worth a try though. -
I've been suspended 2x... the first time they suspended me for too many vero warnings. 3 strikes your out. I began selling on my alternate ID- they figured it out and suspended that one too. I was at silver powerseller status at the time and received a phone call while I was at CHURCH and they left a message stating I was suspended for 14 days and would need to submit blah blah blah to be reviewed for reinstatement... I had to email a letter stating I wouldn't list the vero'd items again, a copy of a bill showing my address, etc.
Second time... vero'd for selling true religion jeans and rock & republic. They suspended both my accounts, my husbands account and my MOMS ACCOUNT. The next day- after never receiving an email, phone call- nothing stating the reason for my suspension (which I already knew was vero related) I received a call from Seller Development wanting me to upgrade my store subscription! Needless to say, I reemed the poor gal horribly. I then asked to be transferred to someone in trust and safety in regards to why I was suspended and never given a reason or any correspondence at all on any account.
The issue; I have receipts to verify origin of these items- however, in contacting TR vero member they wanted a copy of my drivers license my SS# and a credit card statement showing the transaction of how I purchased the items I was selling. Who in their right mind would provide this to a complete stranger via fax! OMG! So- I complained heavily to T&S dept. got a direct fax number to the vero dept, faxed in my appeal and was reinstated the next day.
This was 2 months ago. Now- all my auctions were pulled again for trademark misuse. The clincher on this is when I talked to the gal in Trust & Safety, she asked if there were any auctions I'd like to REPORT that I felt were infringing! She indicated ebay was trying to clean up the fakes/replica issues, and the information I could provide was valuable. So- I guess anyone can report an auction- and have it pulled, even my competition? Based on what!
I hate ebay sometimes- truly I do. The system doesn't work, it can only go down hill when it comes to high end items. Even if you can provide proof of origin, the proof they want by law you should not have to give. Anyway- I'm going on and on and on so I apologize. My point to all of this... appeal. You will be reinstated, I have been a number of times now and all with the same ID I've had for 5 years.

I was suspended twice for selling Louis Vitton on ebay...I bought the knock offs on ebay, and the person who sold them got away with it, he did not get suspended...I ended up getting my account back, and found a way to get around designer sales...put in the description "designer inspired" and they will leave you alone...but don't mention the brand...smart ebayers will figure this out, or if you know they are authentic, put that in the title...

I have been on Ebay for what seems like forever, my personal account, which I have had for going on 5 yrs.
When I decided to start this retail adventure, I wanted to do what i could to keep the business and my personal account seperate. So, I started a new account, go a few auctions up there in time for the "holiday rush" and from hour 1, was getting zapped by the scammers. I reported em, and tried to wait and see what would happen.
Well, I had three finish Sunday Night (nov. 27) , with "buyers", 2 were scammers one on the up and up. I reported the scam to both Ebay and to Paypal. and you will never guess what happend next.
Paypal limited my access, and is stalling on "re verifiying" my information and that the customers have received thier orders. (Wednesday Nov 30)
AND ebay suspended the account for "section 9" concerns... WHAT ever the hell that means... (December 1st) Since then I have written and asked for an appeal, and what I need to do to resolve this, but they dont bother to get back to me.
So, you can guess why the topic is what it is. -
