Okay I was a bit emotional when I first wrote this so I will re-iterate on my story..... I sell Bebe clothing, I get it by going directly to the store, and purchasing, since I have to be there a lot, I have noticed rude-ness and childish behavior and after a while down right disrespect perhaps because they figured out I was res-selling? My question is this...... why if it is not illegal to do this, why should I be subjected to this sort of bullying and rude-ness?
I first thought it was a good idea to have your own Ebay store, and a great way to be there for my child, now I feel like I should be ashamed of it?
As long as I am not using thier pics, is there something wrong with re-selling thier merchandize? what can I do about these rude sales girls? does anyone have any input on this or have experienced something similiar?

I got COPS'ed by Ioffer for listing my one pair of authentic TR jeans. I then emailed TR to make sure the local store I bought (for myself by the way, but I decided against them) and they said they were authorized to sell them.

So now I would have to email their investigation department to get it ok'd. I think auction and sale site will run into some trouble if this keeps happening.

I sell other brands - this was just item I was hoping to get out of my closet.

Don't feel ashamed of what you do if it allows you to spend more time with your child. They should be happy they make commission off your sales!

Thank you for your supporting words, Chark.
Now I know I asked this before but I have to ask again because I am not clear opn this veroed thing.
If you are paying for your merchandize, for example Bebe etc, and not using thier pics, or text........ is there another reason you could get veroed or even suspended? has this happened?
I am a bit nervous now that I know this company is already aware of me, Do I have reason to be?
Can someone give me some definitave input?

Visit this site http://www.tabberone.com. She has been verod many times and won virtually every one of them. My understanding is that in the US, once you have purchased a product, you are free to sell as you please. I am not sure if they can refuse to sell to you, but if you obtained it legally, its yours.

The reason vero is so successful is that sellers either are selling fake merchandise or they do not take the companies to court. If you sell a lot of merchandise, you may want to contact an attorney. If as tabberone.com says, the companies have no legal standing, you may be able to get the attorney to write you a threatening letter and they may fold. You could then just reuse the letter if it happens again.

BTW, is this an outlet? I am curious how you are making a profit by purchasing from them and reselling on eBay.

    Hi Kenn

Thank you for your input, and to answer your question..... Bebe has Outlet stores but all the stores have sales.
I buy stuff when it is on sale, also being that I am in the New York area, I have access to the locations in NY, NJ, etc. I posted elsewhere about prices etc. and I have found designer clothing and jeans at unbelievable prices, Much lower than wholesale, and much lower than what sellers here ask. It is a bit time consuming all the footwork but I haven't found any other way as of yet to find authentic clothing at good prices.

I assume that you keep your purchase receipts. I would simply send them a scan of the store receipt for the purchase of the item in question. The email address will be in the VERO notice that you received.

They have no legal leg to stand on. Rattle your saber loudly and let them know that a lawsuit is possible if they try to interfere with your sales at any time in the future.

Yes, there was someone on here recently claiming one of the outlet stores had a sign up stating they had the right to refuse sales, and would if they thought you where reselling.

Why, I dont know. I know that they dont like selling on eBay, but at least this way they would benefit from sellers selling legit product.

Many outlet stores limit the quantity that you can purchase for this reason. They have the legal right not to sell to you if they don't want to.

well I have noticed that slowly but surely most of the stores I buy large volume from are suspecting, I really don't understand why they should mind so much, they make money too, maybe I need to disguise myself when I go

Once you are verod I'd highly discourage tryingto sell the same item on ebay, legitimate or not. We tried it wth von Dutch hats (ours happened to be legitimate) and got shut down for a repeat violation. They can shut down anyone for any reason. And you can be verod for no good reason other than they don't want you selling their stuff because you pissed them off! Legal, No. But they do it anyways and you need o either get the retailer to back off (written permission) or a court order (time and money) to overcome htis.
