This might sound silly, but how do you know which words be good to choose? And, how long does it usually take to to start seeing results?

    Hello Shop Kitten,

When you choose to add a keyword to your current campaign there is a button labeled "Estimate Traffic", this will show you the average daily clicks, which is a pretty good way to judge the quality of the keyword. I've seen some of my listings show up minutes after i've submitted, it's very quick and your position will be based on your bid for each keyword. Be sure to set a budget, it can get quite expensive.

    Regards,

One of the most important aspects of adword strategy to consider is this: specific, targeted customer groups.

What do this mean in plain English? If you are selling sports collectibles, you are much less likely to sell related merchandise using the keyword combination of "sports collectibles". The more targeted and precise your keywords are, the better.

    BAD: Sports Collectibles
    BETTER: Signed Sports Memorabilia

As a person surfing the web, you would naturally look to purchase a product if the keyword result is more specific to your marketplace (or particular product line).

IMPORTANT to remember: It is possible to become TOO specific with your keywords, meaning that it is highly unlikely someone may look for the phrase "hand signed sports photo memorabilia".

    Good luck!
