They are located in Missisippi with registered agent located in Lousianna. Here is a real-world case in which GBL Liquidators (which advertises heavily within the liquidation marketplace) has conducted illegal and unethical activity:
- Our organization did a sample purchase of nearly $4,000 in Diesel clothing inventory, and made arrangements for our freight carrier to pickup said goods. Our driver arrived but the company had no inventory to load.
- GBL "claimed" that the inventory was at their "other" warehouse in California (ie they were brokering another source). They gave us no option, simply emailing us to indicate that the inventory would be shipped at their expense via their own carrier to one of our warehouses.
- More than half a year has transpired, and GBL claims the inventory went missing or stolen in transit. They had contracted with FreightBroker.com to arrange shipping, and Freightbroker.com claims to have issued a refund check to GBL Liquidations. Have we received said funds?
In short, no.
Please do everything you can to ensure that this organization is blacklisted and spread the word, people. There is no room for this lack of ethics within the wholesale arena.
