Need advice for eBay management software

    Greetings,

We just started our own eBay online sales. We just completed our first week and did just over $1600 in sales.

I am not currently using any sales tracking software and I found the task daunting to say the least to manage just 65 auctions.

We stopped until we can find the perfect software to help us manage our listings.

Here is what my priorities are for finding software:

    A) Sales tracking – give us advance statistics on sales (most popular item, least popular items)
    B) eBay auction fees – we want a robust accounting module to help us know exactly our profitability of running on eBay.
    C) Stream line communication with customers
    D) Shipping help (printing invoice)
    E) Listing help

Please help me by providing the perfect software suggestion (we prefer an online version and not a win32 application – so we can manage from any PC with an internet connection)

    Best Regards

Art, do you know if inkfrog allows you to use eBay prefilled info for movies, books and music? Sparedollar doesnt work with that.

When you signup for inkfrog, you will save time and money when listing your auctions to eBay. Inkfrog has developed a set of tools that allow you to store your images, list your auctions, and manage your current and closed auctions all from the inkfrog website. You can do your entire eBay business directly from inkfrog (and inkFrog will actually save you money!).

Reasons using inkFrog is smarter than using eBay:

    * inkFrog has it's own lister that lists directly to eBay with custom built templates! It's must faster and easier than using eBay's lister and there is no html knowledge needed.
    * Create auctions anytime and save and/or schedule them for a later time for no extra charge! (eBay charges for this feature).
    * Save money! eBay charges .15c for each image ( over the 1st one) on each of your listings. If you use inkFrog, you will no longer pay for these fee's (you can use as many images on your auctions as you wish at no extra cost!)
    * Save more time managing your closed auctions. InkFrog has many tools including: scheduling, automatic relisting, auto emails, and more
    * inkFrog has a smart bulk lister that allows you to list hundreds of items at different 'intervals' with one button click
    * Many many more time saving tools

inkFrog was built to completely manage your eBay business. You can do everything smarter and faster from inkFrog. inkFrog will also end up saving you money because you will no longer pay eBay's picture fee's on each auction. Just a few auctions a week and you can actually save more than your monthly inkfrog fee!

inkFrog also offers the best pricing in the industry! We use a low flat rate pricing structure that no other company can come close to. There are a few 'cheaper' priced companies in the industry but you don't get the quality or type of tools that inkFrog offers.

Is this what you want to know?

Set the following items (optional, and only used for some categories)

When you pick category #617 you have this choice...

    Genre
    Sub-Genre
    Condition
    Display Format
    Full Screen   Widescreen
    Rating
    Region Code
    Next

I will take a try at this one...

Q: Do I have to open a new InkFrog account for my other ID, or is there some way to just list my new auctions under the other ID?

A: this can be done through your same inkfrog account. Just go to the 'home-->profiles' section and create a new profile with your other eBay username. Then 'activate' that profile when you are ready to list with it.

    I pulled the Q & A from their site.

The Professional Plan is $12.95 including 1000 images. I use inkfrog for the scheduled bulk lister and winning bidder email. Automated feedback is available, inventory management. I have never used eBay's systems because not Mac friendly. I can manage any auctions when away from the office.

I don't think inkfrog is a good solution if you are selling DVD/VHS or video games. They do not offer UPC lookup like most of the other more expensive solutions do which is crucial to being found in eBay search.

Looks like a good deal for other items though.

Hello :) I'm sending you all answers :) please, post this message:

It's $13.95 per mo with the gallery showcase or $12.95 per mo without it (gallery showcase shows other auctions preview with thumbs on your live auctions)

you can import items from turbo lister

you can use as many eBay userids with one inkFrog account as you want

we don't support prefilled item descriptions yet

you can communicate with buyers through inkFrog

eBay fee report is available (you can also get profit calculation report based on your item cost/price and eBay fees)

you can print invoices if you're using inkFrog Checkout instead of eBay checkout

you can schedule and bulk list your auctions for free through inkFrog

take advantage of our prebuilt or your own custom templates when using the i-Lister

well there're lots of features, like auto-feedback , automatic winning bidder emails etc.. we simply suggest everyone to try our services to see how it works :) and we'll be happy to help to anyone learning inkFrog through this support form.

    thanks,

does anyone offer a more inclusive program? something that tracks sales history and stats, something that you can input inventory and manage it? is there a program that lets you enter your auctual cost and it will tell your your EXACT profits minus your ebay fees , shipping and etc?

SA Pro is probably the best solution out there for the money. While a bit buggy and slow, offers a fixed price subscription of $24.99 and not a % of sales like most of the "elite" solutions offer.
