Hello,
I'm going to take the plunge soon and see if I can sell sterling silver jewelry at our local flea market. I'm trying to get everything together so I can do this before Memorial day weekend because I once had a mail order business and sales would always fall off starting around Memorial day and would last through out the summer.
Can any of you experienced flea market vendors tell me if Memorial day weekend is good or bad for sales? I don't know if people are too busy going to the beach or watching the races on TV to be bothered with the flea market. On the other hand, it may be a good opportunity to visit the flea market because they have an extra day off.
Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing you live south a little further than me.
In answer it depends on what and where, is the flee market upper scale?
The ones up here have a lot of garage sale items and pricier items usually only go during tourist vacation weeks, like July 4.
Get in a decent fleemarket with a good variety of customers and you should do OK regardless.
