I have seen these things for sale from some of the fellow vendors at events but the number of people selling them seems to be declining.

Does, or has, anybody here sell those things? If so how is that market ans what kind of price should I look to pay for them?

    Thanks

JC Penney, Sports Authority, and others, are selling the Razor Electric Pocket Rocket Motorcycles for $199 retail.

I've seen others selling the Gas ones for around $299 retail, regularly $599 (shipping free!) It doesn't look as good when on sale that drastically... I'd assume they've lost a tremendous amount of popularity.

Unless you can get your hands on them dirt cheap, I don't know if you'll make much. I definately wouldn't purchase a large quantity.

I have had other vendors at events tell me that the market on those things is saturated and they are not selling well.

I was wondering, I saw a couple of gas pwered choppers (50cc) go for $500 ea last weekend, but have no idea what they paid.
    Thanks

Becareful as these just might be a 'fad' much like how scooters and yoyo's came back in recent years.

Also consider rules and legislation that could take them off the streets, which has happened in a few countries, leaving vendors unable to sell them legally.

It is not that the popularity of these items are declining. The demand is still there, however the market has been saturated with the chinese imports driving the prices (and profit) margins down. 1- 2years ago you could make 100% on these items. Now you are lucky to make 30%. However if you price right, you can still move large volumes.

    2 cents.

the fad is dying, with korean and chinese imports the mark up is gone, most kids that wanted one have one, and those that dont have one odds are cant afford it or new local regulations forbid you from riding the things off your own property.
