    Hello everyone,

I have a True Religion Question for all of you. Any info that you have is appreciated.

I recently bought out a retail store that is moving to a new location. In this purchase, I got a small lot of women's True Religion Jeans. They do not have the flap back pocket or the twisted seam. The Style # is 08500-04. I believe the 04 is the wash (Med. hand sand) and 08500 is the style # for the True Religion Bobby jeans. The jeans look like the Bobby jeans, and I did a side by side comparison with a pair from another store. Everything checks out except for one of the inside tags. On the small tag behind the main True Religion tag it says "ST: 08500, CUT: TRW384, EMILY, STONE & TINT. On other pairs of Bobby jeans, I have seen the word BOBBY on that tag. Does anyone know what the "Emily" and "Stone & Tint" are on the inside tag? I have been marketing these as the True Religion Bobby. The cardboard hang tags say 2004. If anyone knows what the "Emily" is, I would love to know.

The store I bought these from has been in business for over 30 years and has an account with True Religion. I have worked with them a lot in the past, and I do not question the authenticity of these jeans. The store is the largest retailer of True Religion in the midwest (with the exception of the mall department stores maybe??).

Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this. I really appreciate it. :D

I've been wearing True Religions since before they got "very popular" and the Emily is a real style that happens to look identical to Bobby's IMO. They are flared with just the horseshoe pocket, no flap pocket, no twisted seam. These are just a little older and came out a while ago. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Kitty  ,

That's very helpful information. Is it wierd that these have 2004 hangtags (maybe from right at the beginning of '04)? That seems to be about the time True Religion blew up into a big brand.

Has anyone seen anywhere online that is selling the True Religion Emily?

Thanks for the info from all of you.

I really don't understand why any one in their normal state of mind would be selling authentic True Religion when they are so over priced. Its really not worth it, because fakes are getting better and better.

Well for me personally, I sometimes sell a pair of TR jeans because mine are slightly damaged and I can get them directly from a high end department store as part of their "damage" program. In that situation it would be worth it to sell. IMO, the fakes still look like !@#$ to me, and hey maybe you're ok with it. Personally I'd never wear fake jeans or bags no matter how much they looked like the real thing.

Viscosity, I havent seen the emily anywhere, I'm almost positive they were discontinued after bobby was put out. I would keep checking stores like Nordstroms Rack and off Saks because they have the older styles at discount. Good luck!!!!

    Thanks Kitty,

Your information was very helpful. I'll keep an eye out for the Emily.

As for selling replica True Religion...IT'S ILLEGAL! What else needs to be said? If my customer is going to pay a rediculous amount of money for a pair of jeans, it is my job to make sure that they get exactly what they think they are paying for.

    Thanks again everyone.
