Ebay's PI notices

Getting real sick of these things. I'm not going to get into what I sell becuase I feel I have enough competition as it is. What I do sell, I believe other sellers have complained about my items as being offensive or prohibited. If I read the rules and regulations and find that I'm listing a prohibited item, I will never reply to a PI notice with a complaint. I have had a few that deserved to be removed, but I have had far more that are just blindly removed by someone working with Ebay with a list of rules submitted with an email. I have read these rules with the majority of items Ebay is removing, but find nothing listed to justify them being removed. I guess they can do what they want. Make rules up as they wish. The thing is, I'm sure it's just an average Joe working behind some comp being paid to fill a quota by Ebay. If any of you have run a business, you'd know good help is not easy to find. I wouldn't see Ebay's police as being much different, with millions listed on Ebay each day.

I'm probly not accomplishing much by posting this, but sh*t I'm getting sick of replying back to these PI notices and sending complaints to through Ebays helps section only to be patronized.

Without knowing what you sell we cannot really comment on what eBay are doing...

One thing is that you got it off your chest :p You feel better now?

Another two today. The funny thing is, I see many other sellers, selling the exact same items I sell and have been threatened to have my account suspended. The way it looks now, I've had just about every item I sell removed at least once. I doubt I'm going to be selling on Ebay much longer. These people removing my auctions are like a monkey on my back. They're being relentless. I'm not sure what justifies them removing mine, but allowing other sellers to get away with murder. I guess someone has to be made an example of. I guess that's me.

Don't feel too sorry for yourself. I have the same thing happen with the items I sell, who knows, I may be your competitor. I have the same problems you have. I have had countless amounts of my auctions removed. Just because people don't openly post about this, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Anyways, not trying to take a shot at you, just giving you heads up we're out here with ya!

    I got this yesterday

We regret to inform you that you have been suspended from eBay for a period of no less than 30 days. Consequently, all of your current listings have been removed from the Site regardless of whether or not they violate eBay policy. During this period you will be unable to leave or receive feedback, bid on or sell items, or file for an Unpaid Item credit. Should you need to access information from listings which ended before your suspension period, you can do so by reviewing the notices you received at the time the auctions ended.

You have been suspended for engaging in activity expressly prohibited on eBay's Site after receiving prior warning to discontinue such activity, specifically:

The history of these violations is as follows:

While this suspension is active, you are prohibited from registering under a new account name or using another existing account to use our system in any way. Any attempt to reregister or use our system in any way will result in permanent account suspension with no possibility of reinstatement.

Please note that any seller fees due to eBay will immediately become due and payable. eBay will charge any amounts you have not previously disputed to the billing method currently on file.

You are very important to eBay and this period of time will help us to build a better relationship. We hope you will come away with a better understanding of our policies.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

In a previous email from Ebay, they admitted it was another Ebay member(s) who complained about my listings. I'm 99.99% sure it's from a competitor. Kind of funny how your see another seller with 1k feedback per month selling 15 of the same listings a day. Im not kinding. some of these items I sold had 50 pages on a search come up. They get rid of the little guy. Yet I could never get a clear answer as to why my listings were removed. Just a link to Ebay's bible of rules. Nothing I could find justified any of them. Except maybe going low price high shipping, which I only did with a couple listings where the items were common.

I will admit some things I sold I couldn't argue removal, and never relisted them, but this seems to be one screwed up system where Ebay's police are nothing more than a pit bulls for malicious sellers, ridding their competition. They did it well.

I'm done I'll probly go with a website where I have more freedom and not have to constantly watch my back. While I did make money for a small seller the fees were outrageous. I was paying anywhere from 400-700 per month. There was a price for every wonderful option to where it became beyond annoying.

Good luck getting your account re-instated. If the process is anything like trying to get a clear answer as to why your listings were removed, you're in for a long painstaking process.
