I`m from the U.K i know Overstock is meant for you Americans but i was able to sign up and have started to get a decent name for myself.
Trouble is, at the begining the site would accept my u.k visa debit card and i paid my invoices no problem.Trouble is now i cannot enter any English cc, now this is the big OWWWW! i tried to pay an invoice for $414 it said cc not accepted i tried again and the same message i got, gave it 1 last go with a different card and it worked!! yipee i thought!! they only took $414 out of my checking account 3 times!!!I contacted my bank and they said it was between me and them, they could not do anything!! I contacted Overstock with copies of my statements and they said i would be getting a refund! 2 weeks on no sign of a penny!! I keep mailing them and sometimes do get a friendly mail back saying they will look into it, but nothing firm.
Any ideas how to get them to refund my money!!
I do like Overstock it`s just this problem i have!

Did you just buy something from Overstock or you join its auctions?

As I know, Overstock is only for American to use at present.

Did you give true information when you signed up? If you gave bogus information, you committed fraud. If you knew you were wrong signing up, I don't know what you can do. If you read the user agreement you agreed to when signing up, you can see what you are up against.

Looks like they have stole my money and got away with it!!
They have now disabled my account and are not answering my emails.
Only thing i did when signing up was to make up a state(we dont have states in England)
Surely they wouldn`t steal my money(which they are doing) they owe me over $800
