The photos you uploaded show shirts most probably mnade by former RL licensee Poloco S.A.S. (RL bought Poloco 2-3 years back) The quality on those are noticeably a notch or two down from regular Polo stock.

Few things I noticed. Generally, Yarmouths have the Polo Pony on the label between the words "Ralph" and "Lauren". They generally don't have the framed word Polo. These labels tend to be on the more obsure shirts in the RL line.

That isn't a steadfast rule though. Poloco labels differently that US RL products so that may be the label they used.

The other thing I noticed was the color. I have never seen a Yarmouth in that dark color with a colored pony polo. Generally, you will find that the colored pony emblems are only on the pastel and light colored shirts. Almost all of the dark colored shirts have a solid color pony.

A dark cloth shirt like this with a colored pony logo is very rare.

I wouldn't have the greatest of confindence in authenticity based on these issues, but I certainly could be wrong. It could be 5 years old for all we know and was some old style that RL no longer produces.

I agree, they are most likely fake:
The Poloco SAS Shirts usually have American Size AND European Size on the size tag. Regular american size tags have Size AND Arm lenght on them (i.e. 16 / 34).

True is that european Yarmouth shirts have the "Polo by" label instead of the american label.

Last but not least this color is not available as Yarmouth - or it must very old - or brand new ;-)

But I wouldn´t take the risk.

    Cheers,
    Alex

I can confirm this. Anoter point is this: http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/vie ... id=2900208

I have seen this once before, on Made in Indian Yarmouth, but the quality was less then from the Made in SL. The indian once only had the size on armlength on it. There were authentic.

    But here, hard to say.
