I've access through an offline source to supposedly authentic designer brand sunglasses such as Gucci, Dior, Diesel and others.
When it comes to sunglasses I am neandrethal man, does anybody have any method of telling if sunglasses are authentic or not? This deal is in it's early stages I'm not sure the paperwork stuation, I want to be able to verify their authenticity through some other examination method, like you can do with diesel jeans.
I presume there are replicas sunglasses going around too?
Also do any of you guys out there have any pointers on wholesale prices
for sunglasses, or is this Q showing my ignorance of the subject?
please post your replies, or if you consider it sensitive pm me. -
I am also currently in the middle of a deal for Diesel shades.. min. 100,etc etc I am basing my authenticity on release papers and COO papers that are supposed to be going along in the deal.
I can give you some assistance on the Gucci's as I currently have 2 pairs I have purchased at Sunglass Hut here in Australia for $320 aud each! hehe definetly authentics
all gucci's have the below logos on inner frame..
'Gucci'
'CE'
'Made in Italy'
'Optyl' (with a small picture)
GG 2455/s -Which is the model number
You will find with some of the fakes and cheapies, they may only have:
the brand name logo
Made in China/Asia
No model number
all gucci's come in a gucci hardcase in black, witht he Gucci logo embossed on the top. They may also have a Gucci sticker on the lens when new and unworn, the sticker has Gucci written in white colour.
There wasnt any sort of paperwork ro tags that came along with either of the pairs I purchased from retailer. -
Hi,
We are a provider of authentic sunglasses on the internet and we have some shops in the UK. We only sell current season stock and we purchase directly from the manufacturers....Example to buy Oakley we have to buy direct from Oakley, they do not give quantity discounts, I can order 1 or 100 and the price is the same..
Ask for some of the model numbers and I will try to get you the trade price and also if they are a current range or not....If the price is a lot below trade than you know there is something wrong....
Like Dior - you will not be able to get an authentic pair of current season Dior sunglasses for less than £60 trade (in the UK) $105 roughly per pair. The reason they are quite expensive to buy is because they are supposed to be sold at 100% mark up min...
We currently provide sunglasses at some of the cheapest prices in the UK. -
FWIW, Sam's Club here has a table piled high with Dior and other designer sunglasses, for $40 each. LOL

I posted a couple of times on this thread, both posts seem to have disappeared?

I have access to many Sunwear Designers, and all my items are directly from the Manufacturer. The guy from Downunder is 100% correct in stating model #'s, model colors in a "code", and made in wherever, and also the size....like 52/16/125 which means 52 eye, 16 bridge and 125 length in mm for the temples. If you want any info, pm me or email me at lincc@hotmail.com. I can send a sample lot, but ppl need to know that High-end Sunwear usually is doubled or higher..so for instance if the Dior is 160.00, it probably wholesales for 80.00 minimally. But like i said I have pics uploaded for anyone interested at getting 2004 models wholesale, let me know and i'll send you the link.
