Nice product and prices, good navagation, but terriable overall design. Way too bland for jewerly, you need something more attrative to the eyes with out diverting attention from the product. That and the bottom of every "g" dissappears on the home page when I looked at it. Looks too much like a simple web templete, good web sites are either done by hand or cost lots of money. :D

I appreciate your opinion and checked out your website also. The background is way to wild, makes my eyes hurt. The site isn't something I'm interested in the begin with. I'm sure many others enjoy whatever it is your website contains. Thank you for the thought and good luck to you.

    CoastalJewelryExchange -

Not bad. Maybe a little bland but not terrible.

I think you should work on your header graphic, reduce contrast a little so it isn't fighting with your site title which needs to stand out a little more.

Reduce your index page font a size or two. Personally I would go with a sans serif font like you have on all other pages (Arial?)

And the shopping cart graphics (Add to shopping cart, view shopping cart, etc.) don't look like they belong.

But most important change that NEEDS to be made - run your body copy through a spell checker "Weclome to Coastal Jewelry Exchange"??

Your website is missing a ton of stuff and is certainly not ready to go live.

    1) Where is your privacy policy? Are you going to sell my personal information to every jerk out there that is willing to pay you for it? There is no way for me to know without a privacy policy.

    2) Where is your terms of use? What responsibilities are you willing to accept?

    3) How can I pay you? This is so important that I can't believe you have left out this information. Who is going to buy from you if they don't know how to pay you? No one is going to place an order to see what form of payment you receive.

    4) If I order from you, are you going to charge me an arm an a leg and take 10 weeks to ship it? If not, you need a section on your shipping policy that clearly states how much shipping is and how long it should take.

    5) If I didn't see that you post on wholesale411, how can I contact you. No where can I find a place for me to send you an email.

    6) If you don't want to upset your customers, I would suggest either removing the photo in your coupon for the $50 free gift or include a picture of the actual gift.

    7) Your boxes are all jumbled together and there is no distinction between your goods for sale, your about us, your links, or anything else. It looks somewhat messy doing this and needs to be cleaned up somehow.

    8) Are you looking for a lawsuit from Tiffany? You state "Below you will find our special line of Tiffany Inspired Jewelry. Hand-crafted to be exact Replicas of the famous Designer." Your second sentence might lead you into legal trouble. When something is inspired by another brand, it will have many similarities but will also have some differences so as to not infringe on other brands. If it is truly an exact replica, then it is no longer inspired but is a ripoff of another brand.

    9) Where do you operate? I would never buy from a company that doesn't have an address and contract phone number. Any fraud can put up a beautiful web page, so you need to set yourself apart from overnight scam artists by providing an address and phone number. Also, your name wouldn't hurt.

    10) In relation to number 9), I want to know what state you are in to see if I owe sales tax. Better yet, what country are you in? Am I going to have to worry about import tarriffs and custom problems?

    11) Are you involved in trademark infringements. One ring you are selling is "8 Ct. Green Kobe Bryant Ring". Do you have permission to use this? You state "Well you've heard about it, now you can have your very own exact replica of the $4 MILLION ring that basketball superstar Kobe Bryant bought for his lovely wife, Vanessa. The eye-catching green stone in this ring is 15mm." Sounds like this can get you into trouble.

    12) I find it odd that there is no introduction and you are immediately selling rings on your home page.

    Good Luck!

Unfortunately, taking those tips will not in itself make a successful website. There is so much competition out there on the web that I think it is extremely difficult to have a successful website. However, I think those tips need to be applied or they might face too many hurdles from having a successful site.
