    Hello,
We are one of the biggest import companies in Lithuania that imports alcohol beverages and food. We are looking for wholesalers and producers in these areas.
Does anyone have an idea where could I find all wholesalers of alcohol beverages and food in USA and Europe.
Please, contact me by marchiokas@hotmail.com or in this forum.

first off let me say that having a hotmail email account does nothing...
it would look more credible to have an actual business account..
personally, i dont deal with anyone who cannot see to it to have an actual email address...

    second..
i dont think it would be possible for you (living in another country) to purchase alcohol from the usa...wine maybe..hard liquor i dont think so..
    i could be wrong though!

I find it perfectly acceptable, if not prudent, to post a Hotmail account in a forum since posted addresses are frequently harvested by spammers. After initial contact one should look for a business address to continue communications. This is only my opinion from experience, as I enjoy less hassle with my business accounts this way.

This is not a flame or reprimand, but merely a suggestion for those who may think they need to post their cared for business addresses after reading this.

Good luck in finding your product!

There are certain considerations each of us has to make in conducting our businesses. I personally avoid doing business with PO Boxes, Hotmail and other "throwaway" email addresses and Enterprises. I'm sure there are some who don't agree. And I'm sure there are some with a much longer list than mine.

With close to 200 spams on an average day, what's a couple more? I can click that X up top with the best of them.

    Hi, Pete!

I'm a big clicker too. Haha! Just to clarify that I was not condoning carelessness in conducting business I'll quote myself. :)

"After initial contact one should look for a business address to continue communications."

Always ask for a "real" address after this (my recommendation only). I suppose I've gotten used to no spam in the last year or so. I used to get almost 500 on most days!

There are many shady characters and for some the type of product being dealt can also cause a sense of alarm. We should all listen to our instincts above our desires to make a profit in any situation. I'm just as guilty as any of having learned this lesson the hard way.

I would think that someone could import alcohol from the US just as we do to the US. Does anyone know? I just find it interesting even though I don't deal in this area.

This is probably so off topic for this thread. Appologies and I will watch it in the future. It was just so tempting. Forgive me please!

    Have a good day all!

I ALWAYS use a Yahoo or similar account just for the reason an earlier poster mentioned, Email harvesting. After I get in touch with someone, I have no problem giving them my business account Email, phone number, address, whatever they want. It's exactly what I would expect from a dealer or vendor after establishing contact.
