I am in desperate need of some answers but dont know who to ask so here goes!!

I have approached wholesalers but i dont have the money to buy and store in bulk. Is that what fulfillment companies do? I just want to sell a product on my website, market it and have the product dropshipped to the customer when they buy. Is this a realistic aproach or am i living in cloud cookoo land?

THere are fulfillment centers around the country that stock and ship for you, however, you still have to buy the inventory and then pay for the space and for the fulfillment.

Basically what it comes down to is if you have no money, it is impossible to get into buying wholesale because, after all, that takes money.

    Well then

I don't know about any one else, but I would suggest getting in touch with Dave Redd. Owner of Dave's Gift Shoppe.com

This guy does the wholesale deal all the way around and doesn't charge any membership fees or sign up fees and might even drop ship as well.

He has 11 different distribution sources and has been online for about 4 years and his physical store has been in business for 12

I don't see any reason why he wont be able to help out

    Well then

You have made 2 posts thus far and both were to plug Daves Gift shop. The first time you posted...

    http://www.wholesale411.com/bbs/viewtop ... ght=#25267

    Right then

Dave's Gift Shoppe.com is currently online but our wholesale side is down as it is being transfered to our own servers

We have currently 12 distributors and sell items from collectibles to electronics
We have not scored highly with other SMC merchants however as our stock and turn-over (volume) allows for us to sell at or below SMC's original prices

    I'll check in later

    Brian

In that post, you spoke like you were part of the company.

This time, you act as though you have no affiliation with them.

By the day, if Dave Repp owns that site, the who is David Faupel??? DO you have to be a dave to work for Dave's Gift Shop? What about to do business with him???

    Right then

Your credibility is teetering on zero to "yeah right" thus far.

I think I should have put the first message into quotes because that was the first response. I have purchased from Dave and so far not at all bad.
Who is David Faupel??? No Clue.
    Credibility? Not an issue

Guess this makes post #3 then, right?

Dave's is the only wholesale distributor that I know of that will assign their retail merchants (who purchase from them) an email address that forwards to your original mailbox.

Dave's is also the only wholesale distributor that will submit their retail merchants websites for free..........

    Need I go on?
