    Well thanks! The problem is this, i sent him $2275. 3 months ago and have received nothing, he says do to the supplier ripping him off. I was then told he would refund me and he would send a check, 3 weeks later no check, then he said it was lost in the mail. I was then told he would wire me back the refund and now to date i still dont have it in my account and im being told that its pending but when i ask my bank they say they dont see anything pending! So now im in a fight to recoop my money. He says my record is impeckable and to just be patient since he is out over $15000 and that he will make it up to me. I have threatened legal action and he begs me not to and that he garuntees i will receive my refund. He is TSG Liquidations 66 Ivanhoe Rd in buffalo :(

    Here is the link to the FTC (the FTC recently published a guide for online advertising called Dot Com Disclosures).
    http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/dotcom/

    If a seller cannot ship goods ordered by mail, telephone, or computer within the time promised (or otherwise 30 days), the seller must inform consumers of the delay and give them the option to agree to the delay or cancel the order and get a refund.
    "Prompt refund" shall mean:

    Where a refund is made pursuant to paragraph (e) (1) or (2) (iii) of this section, a refund sent to the buyer by first class mail within seven (7) working days of the date on which the buyer's right to refund vests under the provisions of this part;

    The FTC works for the consumer to prevent fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices in the marketplace and to provide information to help consumers spot, stop and avoid them. To file a complaint or to get free information on consumer issues, visit http://www.ftc.gov or call toll-free, 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357); TTY: 1-866-653-4261. The FTC enters Internet, telemarketing, identity theft and other fraud-related complaints into Consumer Sentinel, a secure, online database available to hundreds of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies in the you.S. and abroad.

    Yes, you are right - you can file a complaint with the FTC. However, you have to be a consumer in order for them to look into the matter. If you are an actual business, such as an LLC, it will do no good.

    bschmitt24 im sorry to hear that you have now had the same problem! Do you have his phone #'s, if not i can give them to you. You most definately have to threaten him! You must tell him that you will post about his business practices to everyone on here! After all, all you have in this business is your word! 2nd i would look into filing small claims to him in his town of Buffalo, once he is served im sure he will refund your money! Tell him you will file with fraud.org and also if you do a search under internet fraud there will be a ton of other organizations that you can find. FBI has an internet fraud dept. He is very scared of losing business so thats how you have to threaten him. If you would like to email me you can do so and i will give you my phone # and we can talk about my experience and how i went about it. I did get my refund of $2475 after about 3 months but i was relentless!
