I wish to inform everyone about my bad experience with the company Verica Internet Services, which is located in Spain. They are a search engine submission and search engine optimisation firm (supposedly!)
I commited to purchasing the 6-month plan where they would submit my site to 550,000 directories/search engines. The service was also meant to include page optimisation and a review of keywords, as stated on their site. They also gurantee top 20 results in the search engines. All the company has delivered is solely a submission service, nothing else! They have not kept to their end of the deal. Everytime I email them requesting a keyword report informing me how various keywords are ranking in the search engines, they reply with this generic response stating my site has successfully been submitted to the 550,000 directories/search engines.
I have just emailed them demanding a refund be issued. If they do not cooperate can anything be done? They are misrepresenting their services on there site. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you paid with credit card, you can charge it back. If you paid through PayPal, you can file a dispute. If you wired them money, you're out of luck.

Right. If you paid by CC (even if you used PayPal) cal the toll free # on the back of your credit card and ask to speak to the disputes department. Then take it from there.
