I saw a couple of guys selling dollar items at our local flea market. Everything they have seem to be coming from China and they're doing pretty good. :P

Go to alibaba.com, and see if you can find your supplier.

Yes, dollar items seem to do very well in flea markets. I am looking for US suppliers because I wont be buying in huge quantities to be able to buy directly from China.

There are a number of wholesale distributors that sell dollar store stuff. Most have a cost of 69 cents, sell for 99 cents. Not a high profit, you have to move volume.

AND - you have to keep shipping costs way down. Incoming shipping can eat up your profits.

So, the best deal in the world isn't worth a darn if you're on one coast and the deal is on the other and shipping is going to be 17 to 20% over your base cost.

Where are you? You need a supplier near you. Best bet is one who has their own delivery trucks and can drop off to you, rather then you paying shipping.

Check out the different trucks servicing the convenience stores in your area. Also, let us know just where you are and we might be able to give you a close by source. You need someone local.

Could you advise me how many qty per item you would like? because I have been supplying the goods for a USA importer whose mainly business are for dollor items for some years. If possible, we could supply you from China also. If your qty of per item is not large, we could arrange it with our current orders. But could you settle the import in USA by yourself? such as clearance customs and pick up the cargo. If yes, buying from China is best choice for you, because of low cost. :)

here's one in metro NYC area. shipping can't be to bad to you.

I'm sure there must be some in Boston, as well.

I'm going to put this out for everyone to see. Others might be interested.

Minimum order $ 1000. No broken cases. Their way or the highway.
