Looking for a good database program to hold information on clients I have and new ones to come.

Also need to find a program where you can send a list/email to multiple users, without everyone's email showing up in the 'To' Bar.

Thanks for anyone's and everyone's help!

end a list/email to multiple users, without everyone's email showing up in the 'To' Bar.

I don't have a program suggestion, but I get frustrated when someone sends a blanketed email with my address showing with others.

If people would use the BCC on the email program, this would hide the addressees.

The reason i asked is because as far as web scripts go I could recomend a few. These scripts can send to over a million email addresses with the click of a button and all emails are individual. . .

Example DADAmail. . . If you need any install assistance we do offer that service.

Outlook will provide a the same effect if the emails are sent to group list within BCC. . . This will blank copy all recipients within the group. . . However it depends on how you want the email presented to the recipient. . and this is why I also asked originally if this is for desktop or hosted solution. . .

I'm just using Outlook so I guess my question is answered for the individual emailing part.

So, what about databases? The database would be on my PC, just to keep track of information on clients.

Most popular "Contact Management" programs are ACT and GoldMine. ACT is # 1 and well supported by many add-on developers.

It will do what you want, and a lot more.

If you want something basic, but easy to use there are some "under $ 20" programs available at the office supply stores, like My Contact Manager.

ACT! is an awesome program for managing databas lists, doing dynamic and complicated mailings, as well as simple mailings. its one of the best programs you can use for database managment. it even integrates with outlook, or outlook express, and you can use its own internal mailer if you like as well.
