Does anyone find webrings helpful? I just joined just over 100 webrings in the last few days. I was wondering if anyone has had success using these type of marketing?

Well now, you should be able to tell us all about them in a week, or so.

I personally think they're a joke. Actually may have been worthwhile a few years ago, but now if you click next more than 3 times you'll get a 404. Seems like nobody takes the time to edit them and remove the deadwood.

I'd like to hear how it works out for you. Keep us informed, please.

I'm on two webrings for my site, I get a ton of traffic from them. Then again my site is more of a special intrest site and the rings are more dedicated. What's nice about these rings is they are run by people that are into the intrest that the ring is dedicated too, so they tend to have a very high percent of working sites. Try this site to see if any of then relate to your site:

I did get one good thing out of a webring. It put me on the map with Google. I put my website's name into the search bar, and got 30 or so hits, with the other websites making reference to mine. That's about all I've seen for about 2 months or so.
