Description:
The LineX USB FM Transmitter plugs directly into a USB port of any computer and registers itself as a pair of speakers. It will then broadcast all sound/music over the radio in full stereo. It can be set to one of eight frequencies using simple 'dip' switches on the back of the unit. It is fully powered by the USB port so there is no need for batteries or adapters. It uses high quality PLL technology to separate and mix the stereo sound. There is a blue LED which lights up when the unit is active (ie. there is sound being broadcast).
There are two models available. One is within the FCC Part 15 guidelines, and the other has not been approved (and would likely not pass). The second version has a substantially greater broadcasting range, but should not be used in the US without consulting with a local FCC rep.
These are quality transmitters that are professionally assembled in Hong Kong. They use quality microchips from Texas Instruments and are designed to a high standard. These are not toy transmitters.
Uses for the transmitter include: Broadcasting MP3 music collection throughout the house (and beyond). Broadcasting from a laptop to a car stereo in high quality full stereo sound (with full bass and high treble). Starting ones own small radio station for the block (would require the long range version). And more...

I'd like to add that anyone interested in purchasing at a lower quantity (though not too low) should contact us by email with their company info, location, and the desired quantity. We will evaluate each request and respond as soon as possible. Also, feel free to ask any further questions you may have.
Also, the units are covered by a 45 day guarantee from us. The guarantee covers defective workmanship or design, but will not cover damage done to the unit by the consumer outside of normal use. For warranty service, simply email us for an RMA# and either request a pre-paid envelope or send it in yourself (if sending it in yourself, postage will not be reimbursed). We will either repair the unit or replace it with a new one. Shipping is covered by us.
