Just wondering here if anyone has much experience in selling used items?

Living where I do I have access to items that are now considered "country collectible" which has gotten to be a BIG decorating theme. I'm considering trying this niche so thought I'd see if anyone else here has.

I love going to local auctions, tag sales, etc so am always finding items that might appeal. Heck I could start on this in my own attic!

Any responces will be much appreciated.

I've had some experience selling used items that were either given to me or I found in the street or garbage. I've also bought used items, then resold them. It's really refreshing to recycle old items and have someone else reuse them instead buying all this junk from China and selling it on the internet. Some of the items I've resold on the internet, but some of the larger items I've resold out of my home. In order to do this you usually have to constantly be looking through garage, estate or yard sales and you have to have somewhere to store the items. Also some items have to be cleaned up or repaired in order to resale them. Some people give me things and I always say" I'll take it if you don't want it" and what you do with it after that is your business. Remember, it's pure profit if you get it for free in the first place and you're rescuing something from going into landfill.
