We created a demonstration video up on our site. From anecdotal evidence, we find that this helps people understand what our product is about, and gives a good chance for us to get our message across and create an emotional impact. The main goal of this video has been to help communication with people already at our site. (i.e. to boost the conversion rate, instead of focusing on getting exposure). We haven't really explored the viral/WOM aspect of videos on Youtube, etc. Here's an interesting article that shows the unfortunate fact that Youtube videos views can be artificially promoted using a lot of spam. I'm not promoting this approach at all and hope nobody goes this route, but it does give some interesting insights on how things spread. ------------ inFlow Inventory - Software designed specifically for small wholesalers and distributors.
