starting a food vending buisness	Reply

I own a flea market, thats been open now for six months, but would like to add a food court. Can someone tell me the how to get started on this? Things like what kind of license for hotdogs, popcorn machine, nachos,etc.. Wholesale dist. that are good to go with and so on.

Regena, this is a totally local kind of thing. Every state, city, county, etc. has it's own rules on this.

Same with suppliers. For what you've mentioned, I'd say you'll do as well with Costco or Sam's Club.

You can also check with your local Sysco distributor or US Foodservice, two national restaurant suppliers.
