A recent study released by the National Retail Federation reports that the number of businesses victimized in the past 12 months is up from 79% in 2007 to 85% so far in 2008. More and more businesses are seeing their stolen merchandise popping up for sale in other locations (the internet clearly being one of the most prevalent places).
E-fencing is quickly becoming the primary modus operandi for thieves as they can resell the stolen merchandise anonymously without raising any eyebrows. One of the most important findings is how much "new in box" items are worth to the criminals. These... Read more »

A recent study conducted by Mindset Media and Nielson Online reports that consumers that regularly purchase organic products are 153% more open to new experiences. This information is useful because it means that marketers no longer need to be as concerned with marketing their products strictly through niche channels (yoga or green magazines for example) and can now look to expand their efforts across multiple networks. Joe responded to our survey question "What is your best tip for using the web to find products for your business?" with:
"I use various search engines and directories to source products, but my favorite way to source products is to ask other webmasters for good sources. I stick to the webmaster forums rather than ebay or a retailers forum, because the webmasters will have the same kind of requirements (no hassle dropshipping, easy online ordering) that I have."
Thank you for participating and check back for more giveaway opportunities!
