This will give you the variety your customers want at a price they are happy to pay. So - how do you find the best merchandise and price?
One way is by visiting permanent wholesale marts. These businesses do nothing but wholesale sales. They often are located in a large store or warehouse location where you can see the items that are for sale and make your purchases.
Generally, permanent wholesale marts are located in large cities. While you may not live in a large city, you may not have to travel far to find a permanent wholesale mart in a metropolitan area near you.

* Check Policies - Many wholesale marts have specific policies of who may shop there. Call ahead and make sure you bring the appropriate documentation to be permitted entry.

* Set a Budget - With minimum purchase amounts for most items in a wholesale mart, totals can increase quickly.
You should set a budget and create a prioritized shopping list to make sure you get what you need within a price range you can afford.
* Think Ahead - When you are shopping, remember that you are not just shopping for today, but for the next season as well. Many wholesale marts have quick turnover of items - and what is available on this trip may not be available the next time you visit.
If there are items that you know you will want for an upcoming sales season, you need to make those purchases while you have the opportunity.
Wholesale marts are a very useful source for your business. You will always have the merchandise you need nearby, and be able to see and feel it firsthand before making a purchase.
